Master the safety vault, the foundational parkour move, by building triangle hand-foot support, practicing on the floor, and gradually applying controlled speed to clear waist-high obstacles.
Learn the lazy vault and its variant for diagonal obstacle clearance, coordinating hands and feet through a windmill-like motion, and connect between lazy vaults for fluid transitions.
Master the reverse vault by aligning hand placement and twisting through the air to connect lines and obstacles with both two-handed and one-handed techniques.
Master the turn vault, a versatile movement to cross an obstacle while staying on top, using precise hand placement and a guided turn.
Master the squat on rail mount and the full frontal hip circle, gymnastics-inspired moves that help you get onto bars quickly and add flair to parkour lines.
Master the muscle up through progressive drills from wall push-up variations to strict pull-ups, emphasizing a tight elbow tuck, a smooth hand transition, and dynamic bar control for upper-body conditioning.
Parkour is a Window to Truly Mastering the Body
In Parkour, the goal is to challenge the body to its limits and find creative, innovative forms of movement, incorporating obstacles in the environment. Athletes will jump, climb, vault, flip (when ready) and balance, breathing life into an otherwise static, unused object.
THIS is where people of all ages and experience can get the best mental and physical workout on the path to incredible results.
Parkour can help you become a better athlete; stronger, healthier, happier!
Parkour is a sport that can give you an entirely new perspective on the world around you and how you move through it.
Parkour can teach you to gracefully and SAFELY overcome obstacles in new and different ways.
Parkour opens our eyes to be able to leverage the strengths and understand and overcome the weaknesses in our body.
How do we train parkour safely?
Safety in Parkour is something that is relative to the individual and everyone will be started in a place that is comfortable for them.
We spend the time to master the progressions leading up to any skill, developing confidence, strength, and aptitude before implementing in in order to minimize risk of injury. The athletes you see on YouTube (not Michael Scott…) or in movies have spent 10,000+ hours off camera honing their skills in that area, drilling the fundamentals of the movement and worked on making their bodies strong and resilient.
We work with you to spend the time to truly master each step of the progressions, and in doing so build competence, and a high level of competence yields very safe parkour practices.
You will have the opportunity to send your videos to our coaches for professional feedback and advice!!
