Description

THIS IS A LEGACY COURSE.

The updated version of all my reframing courses is called Transformative Thinking. More than 90 video clips, almost five hours. I would recommend taking that one first.

Why is the world the way that is is now? How did it get to be this way, and how will it change in the future? What fundamental changes are upon us, and how will this affect me?

To be succesful in the world, we must understand the great shifts ocurring around us. Structures and systems, which have been stable for decades or even centuries, are now shifting rapidly, disrupting the way we work and live, our products and business models, as well as the way in which we organise our society.

We will examine six keys paradigm shifts:

1. consume to create

2. push to pull

3. universal to unique

4. assets to access

5. linear to complex

6. scarcity to abundance

A paradigm is a way of looking at the world, and a way of acting in the world. We live our lives according to fundamental paradigms in our society: what we eat, how we work, how we consume, how we travel... The word paradigm comes fromt he philosophy of science of Thomas Kuhn, and has been exteremely influential over the last few decades in business and politics.

Recognizing and understanding these paradigms allows us to understand the world around us, and the fundamental changes that we are going through.
