My name is Dimitri Sirenko and I'd like to welcome you to my painting course. I will be teaching you to paint a seascape during a sunny day using oil paints. This course features a series of lessons consisting of theoretical knowledge as well as real time demonstrations. You will learn from my experience not only the technical aspects of painting but also develop a mindset for a more enjoyable process and fast tracked results. I believe knowing how to paint something is only half the battle. It is just as important to ask WHY we see and experience things in certain ways. We will look at all the necessary tools, basics of composition and colour mixing. The course will also offer an understanding of mark making using various brushes and a palette knife. I will be showing you how to achieve dynamic look for your painting to portray an idea of a moving wave rather than a very static image. We will also go over the importance of establishing a light source and adhering to its direction in order to achieve a more believable scene.
I'm really excited and honoured to be able to bring value to your artistic journey. So join me in my course on how to paint a seascape, See you soon!
