Description
PACER stands for Public Access to Court Electronic Records. This course is for anyone that wants to have a better understanding of the PACER system and how to utilize it for access to federal criminal records, civil case filings, bankruptcies and more.
If you're in the investigation field and are not current adept at using PACER, you're hurting your business. This court is for anyone though. Maybe you're seeking the truth beyond what's in the news or you're a paralegal or debt collector. Anyone can take this course and anyone can use PACER.
This comprehensive course covers -
- Sign up with PACER
- Setup PACER
- Account administration
- Perform case and party searches
- Civil, criminal, bankruptcy case examinations (at least 2 in depth examinations in each section)
- Tips for success
I’ve also included a bonus section that will include several different states and examples of how to do state and county searches.
PACER is completely free if you run up less than $30 worth of fees in a quarter. It’s a little more for people like me that use it quite frequently, but not much more.
What I value most with my students is open and honest feedback. If there is something not covered in the course or something that deserves a better explanation, please don't hesitate to reach out. I want to make sure everyone is satisfied with the knowledge here and feels comfortable with the knowledge gained. If you don't, please contact me so I can perhaps adjust the course or add another video to make it more complete.
Who this course is for:
- Private Investigators, Debt Collectors, Process Servers, Paralegals or anyone that wants to learn how to investigate using PACER.
