In this lecture you will know AWS Global Datacenters - AWS Regions and Availability Zones (AZs) where you can deploy your AWS Services.
In this lecture, we talk about relationship between AWS account, regions and AZs. This is required to know to understand what's the scope of different AWS Services.
In this lecture we are going to see that if we need to build sample social media application (mini version), then what architecture and which all application components we would require to be deployed on on-premises data center. This is still a very basic application and in real world it might have lot more components.
With AWS, the functionality of the components and architecture remains nearly same, just that we need to do that AWS Way. Follow next lecture to see how same architecture can be built using AWS services.
Here we will map our on-premises components and architecture to AWS. How and which AWS services we need to build the same architecture.
Here we covered some of the widely used AWS services like EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, DynamoDB, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch etc however there could be more services included in this architecture as per functionality requirements.
If you liked this short course, I will encourage you to go for "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner CLF-C02" course which aims to build strong foundation in AWS and get you AWS Certified. You can find the course here on Udemy.
You can visit the course: https://www.udemy.com/course/aws-certified-cloud-practitioner-clf-c02-latest/?referralCode=E4E802AB0D47D58AC70A
Also I’d greatly appreciate if you could share about Cloud Practitioner course with anyone starting their AWS journey. Unlike typical certification-focused courses, this one is designed to build a solid AWS foundation, making future AWS learning much easier.
I’d love for you to check it out or help spread the word among your friends, family and colleagues.
