
In this video we will look at what beliefs are and what is their function in our life. In particular, we explore how beliefs influence our understanding of the world and resulting behaviours which, in turn, influences our quality of life. I will invite you to consider that, often, beliefs are based in semi-good reasoning which often produce less than satisfying results. By questioning and assessing your beliefs, you will be able to start assessing which areas of your life can be improved.
Limiting beliefs are any beliefs that eventually lead you to hold yourself back by engaging in behaviours that are detrimental for your goals and your quality of life. In this video I invite you to assess your beliefs as more or less helpful ways of interpreting the world, and consider choosing to interpret some segments of the world in a way that might bring you closer to your goals and increased quality of life.
In this video I will discuss some of the most common limiting beliefs that I have encountered as a coach, one of which is "I am not good enough." We will discuss why beliefs are not an objective measure of reality and how to challenge limiting beliefs in your own life by reflecting upon people who adopt a different set of beliefs and thus take different actions and achieve different results.
Today we will cover sneaky limiting beliefs, that is, limiting beliefs that are really hard to spot. In this video I will call to your attention some of these beliefs, explain their potential of sabotaging your quality of life, and how to counter and replace such beliefs with more helpful ones. We will specifically be talking about beliefs such as "I must wait for something to happen before I can make my move", "I am perfect, and there is nothing else for me to learn.", "I don't know what I want", and others.
In this video I am going to guide you, step-by-step, on how to identify limiting beliefs. I will share with you reasons for starting our analysis at the end, namely, with your current behaviour and then work our way backwards: from current behaviour, decision, belief, to the raw data. We will be looking at two kinds of behaviour: one that is unenjoyable in itself, and behaviours that hurt your life.

In this video we are going to look at questions that will help you challenge limiting beliefs. We will be asking where your beliefs came from, how they got implemented, and maintained over time. We will also look at ways in which you can use evidence to directly challenge your beliefs and thus open up the possibility of thinking and acting differently.
In this video I will teach you, what I call, the Devil's Advocate technique: you are going to take a belief and try to disprove it, as if you were a lawyer, trying to get this belief thrown out of court. I will guide you through the exercise of testing beliefs and finding out ways in which a given belief is faulty. As it will become evident, through a series of questions, I will guide you and encourage you to not only question a given belief, but also to try to find counter evidence for it.
In this video we will look together at how you can break through a given limiting belief so that you can change both the belief and the behaviour that follows from it. In addition to counter-evidence, we will explore another strategy: namely, to seek for evidence that would support the claim that a given belief is true.
In this video we will discuss how to form a new belief based on new evidence. In particular, I will invite you to consider the difference between rational and emotional components of a given belief and the possibility of knowing and acting on a given new belief, while still being emotionally attached to the old belief. Finally, we will discuss the wisdom behind the idea of aligning the new belief with the feeling of a given belief being true.
