Getting Deeper And Deeper And Deeper!
Assignment 2 introduces the student to training the hand, dropping through layers on the body to find the restriction. Students will be guided through exercises, increasing their understanding of the Osteopathic core concepts.
Practice What You Learn!
Assignment 3 puts what the student has learned into practice; Training the hand in dropping through layers on the body to inquire more specifically into the restriction. With these guided exercises, students will apply their understanding of these Osteopathic core concepts.
It's Always In The Last Place You Look!
This is where the restriction is found! The student will put into practice what they learned about assessment. They will practice feeling for the restriction, identifying when there is a stop to their inquiry.
Osteopathy was invented over a hundred years ago as an alternative to drugs and surgery. Today, root problems are still not addressed, making people sicker.
What A.T. Still, physician and surgeon who created Osteopathy, attempted to do in 1874 was heal the body without doing it harm. This was the paradigm shift. In the over hundred years of innovation, the original concepts have been taken even further.
What these healing innovators offer is a new perspective on health. The industrialized model of the body as a machine has been replaced with the concept of the body as an intelligent organization of consciousness.
In this course students will learn how to tap into that consciousness and let it guide their healing.
