Organic Chemistry based on O level Chemistry syllabus
Topics include fuels and crude oil, alkanes, alkenes, alcohols, carboxylic acids, esters, polymers
Polymers include both addition and condensation polymers
Students will also learn how to apply the concepts learnt to questions
acids, bases, salts
writing chemical equations and formulae
This is a course that covers the entire Organic Chemistry section tested in O Level Chemistry, Syllabus 6092.
Organic Chemistry is the last topic that most students learn for O Level, and usually takes up a big part of the entire exam. For instance, about 5 out of the 40 questions in paper 1 are on organic chemistry. Similarly, for paper 2, there are usuall 1 to 2 questions on this topic. It is important to be familiar with the topic on organic chemistry since it takes up quite a percentage of the O Level Paper.
In this course on Organic Chemistry for O Level, I cover all the topics that are tested under Organic Chemistry. You will learn all the topics in detail. These topics are:
Fuels and Crude oil
Different types of formulae used in organic chemistry
The course is written for students taking the Singapore O Level exam.
In this course, you'll not only learn the concepts but also learn how to apply them. We go through many examples (i.e. questions) so that you could apply the concepts learnt.
This is the complete course that I conduct in my face- to- face tuition lessons. This complete course usually takes multiple 2- hour lessons. But now, you can learn the entire organic chemistry topic tested in O Level Chemistry anytime, anywhere, at your own pace, and watch it any number of times you like.
