In this video I tell you what to expect with Order Flow and give you a brief introduction to the course.
In this lecture I explain in detail how order flow works from the market makers perspective. I break down what's the difference between passive and aggressive orders using clever diagrams and you will learn how this impacts the order flow.
In this section I go on to show you how to identify buyer and seller control and some of the key things that occur in the order flow using diagrams that are easy to understand. I also introduce you to the concept of a ledge or a ladder.
In this lecture we talk about Icebergs, what they look like and how to identify them every time. Icebergs are often a trading opportunity, so it is important as a scalper to understand this in the order flow.
In this lecture we tackle algorithm behaviour on the order book and how we can understand the illegal practice of spoofing by market maker algos and how to spot it. Spoofing can easily trap or fool traders, so identify what side of the book is spoofing is crucial to scalpers.
In this section I explain the more advanced concepts of what I call 'the big 3'. Being able to understand the big 3 helps you position properly and define risk. So in this exercise we go through understanding how this works and the importance of knowing the difference.
I do know everyone will be a scalper but these concepts can be applied to your everyday candle stick or market profile charts. Your now superior knowledge gained can now be interpreted in everyday price action. In this lecture we look at specific candles and profiles that can be interpreted against order flow activity.
In this course you will be embarking on a journey through the world of order flow. Ever since algorithms entered the trading arena and machines became responsible for making markets, trading has become highly random, especially at the micro level. So people wanting to scalp in the equity, futures or other exchange based markets needed to build a very practical knowledge of market micro structure or simply what we call Order Flow Trading.
In this course I will be breaking down from basic diagrams, what order flow trading is and getting deep into the practices of market makers on the various global exchanges and teaching you to spot predatory algorithms. This is a prelude to my DOM course already on Udemy, so it is a must for all traders wishing to understand DOM (Depth Of Market) scalping. This is an incredibly difficult subject in trading and not often taught to retail traders because of its complexity and depth, remember retail traders are heavily influenced by brokers who want easy prey. So while the course is open to all levels, this will require constant study of the program and some practice. Now that's out of the way... Traders wanting to be top of their game will find it rewarding, insightful and above all practical to implement. Those who know me, already know you are in for an exciting ride into the world of Order Flow Trading.
You will learn -
The Basics Of Order Flow
How To Identify predatory algorithms
Identify the strong side of the orderbook
The concept of a ledge or ladder
Market maker techniques and more....
