Profile Management provides a framework for developing and managing talent profiles that meet your industry or organizational requirements. Profiles summarize the qualifications and skills of a person or a workforce structure such as a job or position. Profiles are valuable for tracking employees' skills, competencies, and accomplishments, and for various talent management activities, such as career planning, identifying training needs, performance management, and in the recruitment process for identifying job requirements and suitable applicants. Profile Management’s presentation of the person profile and talent ratings provide a more engaging and responsive interface design. The user experience enables features that can be presented on both mobile and web pages. The interfaces are simpler, intuitive, and consistent across Oracle Cloud Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM).The Person Profile Type maintains the definition of the person talent profile necessary for tracking employee’s skills, qualities, and qualifications. The Model Profile Types maintain the definition of the workforce structures necessary for tracking targeted and required skills, qualities, and qualifications. You can search for employee, job, position, and organization profiles based on certain criteria. For example, a Human Resource (HR) Specialist in London that wants to fill an Applications Developer position internally, can search for profiles of all employees who are based in London and have experience with Java and PL/SQL.
