Description

You will be learning about the Oracle database multitenant technology, including learning the multitenant architecture introduced in Oracle 12c. We will be using Oracle Public Cloud for the labs. This tutorial will cover topics such as how to create an Oracle database, security, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), Oracle Cloud Storage, backup and recovery using RMAN and Oracle database administration tasks using cloud tooling. Finally, you will learn about data migration, upgrades and basics of Oracle performance tuning in the Cloud using Oracle Enterprise Manager Express, DBaaS Monitor etc. Once you have completed this training course, you will have a fundamental understanding of how an Oracle multitenant operates, and how these database concepts apply in Oracle Database Cloud Offerings such as Exadata Express, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. If want to start with demos and labs, please start from section 3. Section 1 and 2 are purely theoretical in nature
