Create and manage a new blank project, import architectural models from the service center, and explore the initial screen, file tabs, and 3D viewing in the facades workflow.
Configure the project environment, import and save projects, generate reports, and manage templates, grids, object snaps, tracking, and units with the auxiliary toolbar.
Learn to navigate the project tab, add and edit elements with coordinates, angles, thicknesses, finishes, and descriptions, and manage the element list within a BIM model.
Explore the elements tab walkthrough, detailing opaque facade, technical system panel, solar collectors, photovoltaic panels, and windows and openings; adjust height, thickness, insulation, margins, and use shortcuts to insert panels.
Explore the edit tab to refine facades by editing panel type, thickness, finishes, and dimensions, then copy, move, delete, measure, and manage visibility with snap options.
Explore the BIMserver.center connection toolbar, monitor server and synchronizer status, export IFC files, and update the model on the server to coordinate with projects in the service center.
Configure open bim focchi facades solar collectors on exterior walls with snap and visibility toggles, create multiple rows from basement to ground floor, and align panels for improved energy efficiency.
Learn to input photovoltaic units on facade sides, adjust panel dimensions, and align solar collectors for energy rating analysis.
Configure the front facade by placing opaque units, double vented windows, and doors, adjusting thickness, height, insulation, and margins for a precise, snug fit.
Tackle a home challenge by configuring building façades with double windows and opaque panels using a plug&play system, then update and export the Union Apartments project.
Open BIM RenoZEB - Focchi Facades is a free software tool for drawing and subsequent cutting of the facades for rehabilitation of the Focchi company. The program is integrated into the Open BIM workflow.
The objective of the program is to obtain a list with the account and size of each panel that is needed on site, which allows the Focchi company to manufacture the necessary panels. These panels are also drawn in 3D and are part of the project's BIM model information.
"Open BIM RenoZEB - Focchi Facades" has been developed as part of the RenoZEB research project: "Accelerating energy Renovation solutions for Zero Energy Buildings and Neighborhoods" which is part of the strategic program of the European Union Horizon 2020.
