Description

Your dirt bike's suspensions can be adjusted in several ways, considering your weight, the type of terrain, riding style and other variables. A good fit will undoubtedly have an impact on your performance – but also on your comfort and safety while riding.

However, very few riders are able to go “beyond the clicks” and completely understand how to take full advantage of the bike’s suspensions.

In this course, you will learn how your suspensions work, how they are built, the impact each adjustment has, how they can be adjusted and how to adjust it to your liking.

For that, you will first understand the fundamentals of suspensions to give you a good foundation before your next learnings.

We'll go over the many and varied different front fork technologies available on the market.

After that is when we get our hands dirty: We'll have an intro module for the testing procedures and afterwards we'll get comfortable with all the damping adjustments, from compression to rebound.

Later on, we'll go over some further adjustments that can help you hone your front forks to have it dialed for your needs.

We'll move over to the rear shock technologies, specific adjusters and how to properly adjust the SAG of the bike.

Finishing off, we'll go over an overlooked aspect of tuning suspensions: Balance of the bike.

Happy learnings!
