A short video of what exactly you will learn in that OneDrive course.
What is Cloud Computing and in that special case Cloud Storage
An important factor which has to be considered, since you are storing the files on a third party server.
There is the 3-2-1 rule that you should have three backups. One is your device and then there should be another one on an external medium like a hard drive. The third and final one should be somewhere in a different location which is basically the cloud and so it solves one problem for you.
How to get started using one drive
The basic layout and design of Onedrive.
How to create a file directly in Onedrive or how to upload files and folders.
How can you delete a file or a folder and how to restore it. But be careful as soon as you delete a file from the recycling bin it is gone.
You will learn the difference between copy and move to
At some point you will probably have to rename something and this is how you do it.
One advantage of a cloud service is that you can send people links or give them access to certain files or folders and you can have one place to store everything that is needed.
But be careful and always set it up correctly. You will learn in that video how you can do that and how to restrict permissions or limit the access.
We have looked at the section already but we summarize what you can do there specifically.
Another way of finding files in an easy way is shortcuts.
It will happen that you are searching for some files or folders and this toolbar will be your best friend then.
You can Browse Files by People and Meetings, that find something from one person that shared something with you or from a certain meeting.
You can look through Media Files quickly and with a timeline.
The quick access menu seems quite boring at first but can actually be a powerful way of sharing things in combination with Share Point and Outlook. So it is already an advanced feature, which can be quite handy.
Another way of getting things done more quickly is Copilot, the AI assistant from Microsoft.
The Storage Menu and what you can do in there.
The settings menu explained.
The settings menu explained in the case you have a private or family account.
A specific section of copilot and what you can do with it.
A specific section of copilot and what you can do with it.
The Windows App of OneDrive and what you can do with it.
A short video of the Mac version of the OneDrive application, which is pretty similar just a different layout and design in the settings menu.
Finally the version for the mobile devices, like smartphone and tablet.
In the other videos I have forgotten to show the feature and this is why I decided to show you that.
