Joey Hiles has led over 100 seminar discussions and has participated as a student in hundreds more. He taught classics and philosophy to 12th graders at a classical school in Arizona. When he’s not helping students write essays, he occasionally writes his own.
He double majored in Philosophy and Religious Studies at Elon University and completed a Masters of Liberal Arts degree at St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD, where he read many of the western classics of philosophy, literature, and political theory. He is currently a student in the Doctor of Liberal Studies program at Georgetown University.
