Hopeful American citizens are asked up to 10 of these during an interview and have to answer six correctly to pass.
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services reports that as of March 2019, the overall national pass rate is 90% However; you have only 2 shots to pass it!
How is the US citizenship test given?
The civics test is an oral test, administered during the naturalization application interview. In order to pass the civics portion of the test, applicants must correctly answer at least six (6) of the 10 randomly selected questions.
