Description

Numerical Reasoning tests are a very common component of early career applications, frequently used before applicants' CVs are even considered.

Even though taking the tests can appear daunting at first and prevent applications from progressing, the style of the questions set in these tests, together with the fact that there are only a few providers (e.g. SHL, Kanexa, TalentQ) who are used by most employers make this skill relatively straightforward to obtain and master, in a rather short period of time.

In this course, structured along practice tests, we offer a realistic and effective preparation for numerical aptitude tests. Based on simulations which are very close to the real test, as set by most providers, course participants can practice the necessary skills, and gain ample exposure prior to taking tests in their applications.

The course is structured along 6 Practice Tests:

  • Four practice tests which are complete simulations and are aimed at exposing students to a realistic simulation and showcasing the breadth of required skills and expected pace

  • Two additional practice tests focusing on single skills required, including specific numerical methods as well as a dedicated session on when we "Cannot Say" if the answer to a question can be inferred given the information provided.

Numerical tests can be mastered through practice, and this structured exposure can help bring students to the right level of skill and aptitude in an effective way, while avoiding lengthy exposure to lectures which can sometimes be challenging in the time-constrained period of applications.

All necessary skills and knowledge can be covered with the structured tests and explanations, thoroughly provided with each question, so we encourage students to take the tests and study the explanations in detail until they are certain they are comfortable with the topic and content discussed.
