Notewize Beginner Electric Guitar Course

The Notewize Electric Guitar Course is built off of 4 branches of content: Warm-ups, Scales, Chords, and Techniques. These branches coordinate throughout the different Sections of the Electric Guitar Course to ensure that you are learning the right content, at the right time, at the right speed. And every Warm-up, Scale, Chord, and Technique Lesson is paired with a Practice Song so you can practice these new skills!

Warm-ups:

Every Section of the Notewize Electric Guitar Course contains 2 Warm-up exercises to help build coordination between your picking and fretting hand. There are all different types of Warm-ups, including Linear Playing, String Switching, String Skipping, Hammer-ons and Pull-offs!

Scales:

Scales are an essential part of learning to play guitar, because they are the foundation of every riff, melody, and solo that you will ever play! The Notewize Basic Guitar Course covers major scales, minor scales, major pentatonic scales, minor pentatonic scales, and blues scales, with Practice Exercises for each lesson!

Chords:

There are so many chords you can play on the guitar, and the Notewize Electric Guitar Course guides you through the most commonly played chords, with Practice Songs for each one. We cover open power chords, moving power chords, and the entire major and minor open CAGED chords that include C, A, G, E, D, Em, Am, and Dm.

Techniques:

Learning good technique from day 1 is the key to mastering the instrument. The Notewize Electric Guitar Course will guide you through the most commonly used guitar techniques, including playing fretted notes, shifting around the neck, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and bends. And every Technique lesson is paired with a Practice Song to test your skills!
