Description

These Mock Exams are based on the latest changes in the Exam Content Outline from PMI.

The questions cover the 3 domains:

  1. PEOPLE – emphasizing the soft skills you need to effectively lead a project team in today's changing environment

  2. PROCESS – reinforcing the technical aspects of successfully managing projects

  3. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT – highlighting the connection between projects and organizational strategy

Just like the actual PMP exam, these Mock PMP exams include questions related to predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.

Please note that these Mock PMP Exams only uses multiple-choice and some fill-in-the-blanks questions as it is difficult to include other types of questions using this system. However, the actual PMP Exam will be a combination of multiple-choice, multiple responses, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank.

In all cases, you will benefit from these Mock Exams as they simulate a similar mix, difficulty and style of questions that you can expect to see on the actual PMP exam.

To increase the chance of passing the actual PMP exam on first attempt, you should aim to score 80% on each mock exam here.

If you don't score well on the mock exams, review the answers and, if required, re-study the areas that you are weak on in order to enhance your knowledge.

For your quick reference, please see below details of the actual PMP Exam from PMI:

The actual PMP examination is comprised of 180 questions. Of the 180 questions, 5 are considered pretest questions. Pretest questions do not affect the score and are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate way to test the validity of future examination questions. All questions are randomly placed throughout the examination.

  • Total Examination Questions = 180

  • No. of Pretest (Unscored) Questions = 5

  • No. of Scored Questions = 175

The allotted time to complete the examination is 230 minutes.

For the actual PMP exam, there are now two 10-minute breaks in the exam. The first will appear after you complete questions 1- 60 and review all of your answers. The second break will appear after you have completed question 120 and confirmed that you have reviewed all of your answers. Please note, once you review your responses and start your break you will not be able to return to the questions from the previous section of the exam.

When you are signed back in after each break, you will have the remaining allotted time to complete the remaining section(s). In total, you will have 230 minutes to respond to 180 questions.
