In this course I teach below topics-


1. ONTAP upgrade and issues


2.SVM-DR


3.Non-disruptive operations- lif migration, volume move, storage failover SAN,storage failover CIFS, SVM migration.


4. Flex group.

In this training, I explain how to upload upgrade package and how to troubleshoot warnings and errors that we get while doing upgrade. Different ways of uploading the upgrade package and how to decide what version to download. I also discuss veto issue that I had encountered during one of my ontap upgrades. Different compatibility issues of upgrade.


How many time of replication technologies available for ontap and santricity. I show how to create intercIuster logical interface and how to do cluster peering and svm peeing.i also show how to setup volume level async replication in ontap. I also describe how to setup svm dr replication.


I show how to migrate logical interface from one node to another in case of controller replacement to have the data available seamlessly to the end users from storage end.


I also show how to move volumes from one aggregate to another in case aggregate is full.


I also show how to do storage failover and giveback.


I also show how to do svm migrations and also show that it is a non disruptive process.
