Append and open Navisworks different files
Explore Navisworks sectioning tools to enable planes or a section box for cross-sections. Save viewpoints for ground floor plan view and elevation, and share comments via the saved viewpoints window.
Navisworks clash detection training teaches how to configure a clash test between MEP and structural elements, set rules, adjust tolerance, and generate shareable reports synced with Revit.
Convert clash tests into shareable html tabular reports by selecting contents and properties, showing item id, status, layer name, and grid location for architecture vs structural elements.
Export the quantification workbook to Excel, organize by activity name with its cubic meter quantity, then create a pivot table to generate a readable material takeoff.
Discover how BIM supports construction management with Navisworks quantification, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and clash detection to streamline scheduling and improve project outcomes.
*First course on Udemy about CONTRACTOR SERVICES
*In this course students will be familiar with the BIM services that Navisworks can provide for any BIM project. First, we will cover Navisworks workspace, how to control it and how to navigate through BIM model, then we will move to the Model Review process, we will learn more about the different sources of comments that we receive as contractors and how to review the models against those comments. The next topic which we are going to cover in this course is the Coordination. The coordination is one of the biggest challenges that we face as contractors on the construction site, so we will learn how to use navisworks to help us in the coordination process between different disciplines and how to sync these results with Revit models. Then we will learn how to create Material Takeoff reports to make the contractor orders based on the construction site activities. Then the activities will be linked with time and cost to create the 4D & 5D Simulation.
Preparing (VOs) is one of the most important tasks that we make as contractors, we will discuss that topic as well.
At the end of this course you will learn how to create a very nice animation and rendering
