The NEC code is updated every three years and provides minimum safety standards for electrical design, installation, and inspection to ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment and systems. The NEC code is widely adopted and enforced by local and state authorities and is considered an essential resource for electrical contractors, engineers, and inspectors.
