Description

In this course the Rogers and Hart standard My Romance will be broken down into 5 easy steps. We are using the chords right out of the Real Book with limited re-harmonizations. Many students have asked “How do I play from a fakebook?” Well, this is the lesson for you! The information in this lesson can easily be applied to thousands of other standards.

This lesson shows you how to create a full arrangement by using my Step-By-Step Standards approach. If you have never created your own arrangement before from a lead sheet, you'll find this lesson critical for your understanding of how the 'pros' create those full arrangements.

Already creating your own arrangements? Well this lesson will help you make them fuller and sound more interesting by adding re-harmonizations and fuller to-hand chord structures.

This lesson is a key foundation to learning all of the basics of lead sheet and cocktail piano playing.

Who this course is for:

  • Piano players that would like to learn to play My Romance and have been playing piano for at least a year.
