Hello Friends,
After a long session on general topics related to freight forwarders, we have seen that a freight forwarder has a wide range of services. It can be quite complex at times. However, after seeing the processes in the next sections, this complexity will disappear on yourside.
In this video, we will focus on the stakeholders and relationships in the freight forwarding industry.
Hi Friends,
Normally, you wouldn't find this topic elsewhere. However, I wanted to share with you the departments and responsibilities of a global freight forwarder in this education program. After all, you are working for ABC Shipping Co LTD, a global forwarder, in this education program, right? That's why it will be useful for you to see the departments and their responsibilities.
Hi Guys,
We have successfully completed the general sessions of our career journey. We have now created areas in our minds for topics such as the world of ocean freight transport, carriers, and freight forwarders and we know their definitions and features.
Before we move on to operational know-how topics, it is important to follow these general sessions in order without skipping any of them.
Right now, we are in the most important section of our training program, which is the operational know-how section. I would like to emphasize once again the importance of following all the topics in order and without skipping any.
In this video, we will closely examine the processes and relationships within the Customer-Freight Forwarder-Carrier triangle.
The topic of this lesson is "How does a new shipment & job come to a FFW?. After all, It is important to remember that we are a commercial enterprise and we need to sell our services and increase our company's business. In order to achieve our goals, we need to gain new shipments from exporters or importers in the market.
Now you might ask a question like this. We are in the operations department in this training and learning about operations generally.
What contribution can we make to reach the goals? You're right. I will answer this question at the end of this video, at the end of our lesson.
We are now at a very important topic. After this lesson, we will be diving into specific topics related to sea freight operations. You may have noticed that I tried to prepare this career program in the most accurate, understandable, and meaningful way. All topics are interrelated and presented to you in a sequential manner. Now, in this lesson that I have worked on for a long time, you will find very special information once again.
I can say that this lesson is a breaking point or a milestone in Series I. This video is truly one of the most important ports in our career journey. After this lesson, you will be even more curious about the other lessons and videos in our career program and you may want to finish the training as soon as possible. But, my friends, stay calm and don't rush! This video will also be a long one, so let's follow it patiently without skipping any minutes of it.
Yes, our topic for this session is "Freight Forwarder's Export Operational Workflow Process".
At our second video in Part I , when we were reviewing job postings, we noticed some clauses such as "Handling Operation from Start to Finish" or "from A to Z." As we were going through these job postings, we wondered what exactly is the A to Z of this job? Do we know what the start or finish is? And I told you not to be afraid, do you remember? Yes, you do.
In this lesson, we will explore these questions further and dive into the details.
Are you ready to start and see what the start and finish of this job are?
We are continuing the lesson of Freight Forwarder's Export Operational Workflow Process.
Hello Friends,
We have completed our long and exciting lesson on Forwarder's Export operational workflow. And we will continue our journey with more specific know-how topics. We will be discussing Move Types or Service Types in this video. I want to emphasize that you will not find the details of this topic in any other training program. We will cover it because it is an important point in our daily operational processes.
Move Types or Service Types are a matter that needs to be clarified by our sales department with the customer during the offer-request phase, which will shape our booking and operational processes.
Hello, everyone!
Greetings and welcome back to a new lesson and a new topic. In our previous session, we discussed Move Types & Service Types, and we now have a better understanding of the importance of our work. The topic of this lesson is Load Types & Shipment Load Types. Let's begin by explaining Load Type.
Hello, everyone!
Let's continue to explain of Load Type with Part II.
Hello,
In this lesson, we will learn about the process of loading goods into a container, also known as stuffing. In previous lessons, we covered topics such as Service Type and Load Type. Now, we will focus on how ready-for-export goods are loaded into a container, the steps involved, and where it takes place.
Hello friends,
We are here together again for a new video. Although we briefly covered the VGM topic in our previous lesson on the forwarder's export FCL Operation workflow. VGM can seem a bit complicated, but if you listen carefully, you will see that it is actually quite easy.
Now we know a lot about sea freight operations. It's time to get more specific, especially about interpreting container sea freight services. Because sea transportation is different from other modes of transportation due to its structure and various characteristics. We can say it's a different mode of transportation. Why? Because there's a ship, there are containers, and there's the differentiation between FCL and LCL. All of these create some differences. One of them is the topic we will cover in this lesson, the meaning and differences of Direct/Transshipment service. It is, to be honest, one of the topics that most newcomers, new employees in our industry and our customers can misunderstand. That's why it's useful and important to provide these details while explaining the transportation service to our customers.
GOALS
•In Freight Forwarder sector , as Ocean Freight Transport Mode; Training candidates with pre-experience in all aspects
•Teaching the business process from A to Z with the intensified & real workflow method

How are you? Since you have started watching this video, we are now friends embarking on a long educational journey together on the same ship. So, we are on the same ship and our goal is the same.
I will share all my knowledge, experience, and insights about sea freight container transportation that you expect from me during this journey. And when you complete our series, you will continue to move forward in this industry on your own. Just like our friends who have joined our Turkish version before.
Thank you for enrolling in our course. I hope you enjoy watching our videos and get the expected outcome.
Apart from this, as I mentioned in our introduction, I will have an important request from you. You have paid a fee for this program and you have some certain expectations. To ensure that your expectations will be met, in addition to the content that I have prepared, I will also kindly ask you to pay attention to the following three important points.
Throughout our course , I strongly ask you to be "Perseverance , Eager and Patient". I also ask you to watch all the videos in sequence and complete the entire course, without skipping any of them, not even a single minute. Just imagine that you are currently working in the Export Department of ABC Shipping Company and undergoing an orientation process with your manager. Therefore, please keep in mind that your manager has no option to skip or overlook any topics, and neither should you. Therefore, please complete all the topics in the given sequence to ensure the best possible learning experience.
In this training process, we will also take you into an orientation process under the right headings and topics in an intensified manner. Therefore, I think you will stick to this request. I believe that you will be able to stay true to this request and complete the course accordingly.
Lastly, another point that I would like to underline is that some of our sessions, especially the ones with general titles, have topics that must be covered in a single session. Therefore, I prepare these videos in two or three parts such as Ocean General Session , Freight Forwarder Session. While watching these long sessions, please watch them for a maximum of 40 minutes and do not skip any minute. Because an important past experience or insight may have been conveyed in the part you skipped.
