My name is Rosa and I love languages. Since I can remember I have had a passion for learning language. As a little girl I always used to take my dictionary with me on holiday to learn new words. I studied languages at the University of Cape town, South Africa, and majored in French, English and Modern Hebrew. I am a mother of 5 children and I love teaching languages to children.
My French journey started in high school at 14. After school, I spent a year in France doing au-pair work. I was fascinated by how chidren learn and express themselves while playing. I also saw how I learned the language - through play and repetition. I decided that the best way to learn a language is like a child, i.e. by hearing it often, through playing and through singing songs. That is why my approach is focused on these aspects in order to learn the grammar and vocabulary. This is what sets My French Adventure apart when it comes to teaching children French.
Join me on an unforgettable adventure as we learn to speak French.
