Description

This is a crash course in understanding the next steps needed for aging adults/senior citizens that are in need of more support. Understanding emotions is at the start of this course, as change is much harder to do, when we haven't processed emotions.  When we do research, we start to build our own confidence in what options are available and how we can support our aging parents.  We talk about who to call when starting your research, so you can get the support you need.

We dive into understanding baselines for our aging parents, and whether this is a season of change or a new normal to adjust to.  We start defining the support that is needed, and discuss the variety of support options that can help demystify the next steps.  We disclose the pro's and con's of a variety of options, so you can become educated on the options available.  And lastly, we explore how to start a conversation about change with aging parents, including our 4 tips! You might be surprised by some of these tips, as most people naturally might communicate a different way! This class includes a self paced worksheet that you can complete to help guide yourself on what your aging parent might really need.

If you've noticed some changes in a loved one recently, and are worried about the future, this class will put your mind to ease with helping you not only learn about the options available, but it will help you write down your next steps.  While giving you the much needed tools, to opening up a conversation about change with a (most likely emotional) loved one.  As an aging and change coach, I'm always available to support those that take my classes, just send me a message or find me on social media or my website to connect.
