Description

Referred to as "The art of eight limbs," Muay Thai incorporates the use of hands, elbows, feet, and knees to create a wide array of striking combinations. With a rich history as one of the oldest forms of martial arts and close-combat fighting, Muay Thai has become integral to the training of MMA fighters, military personnel, and Special Operations forces. Drawing from his extensive 51+ years of experience in Muay Thai, Master Paul Metayo has meticulously developed a program aimed at helping fighters reach their maximum potential.

Within this 98-minute video presentation, Paul guides two of his students through a comprehensive series of techniques and drills. The content spans various aspects of skill improvement, encompassing shadow boxing, pad drills, and both offensive and defensive maneuvers. This video serves as an indispensable resource for coaches, instructors, and fighters of all ages and fitness levels.

About the instructor: Paul Metayo commenced his fighting journey in Thailand at the young age of 13. Over the years, he has accumulated a remarkable record of more than 100 professional fights, boasting 93 wins and a mere 11 losses. Paul's teaching career in Muay Thai began in 1991, and he ventured into event promotion in 1996. Among his notable students is Alex Gong, a four-time World Champion Muay Thai Fighter, who trained under Paul's guidance starting at the age of 19. Currently, Paul conducts classes in both Tempe, Arizona, and Rohnert Park, California.
