Advanced Online Poker Concepts to Move Up Stakes Quickly

Students will better understand what I will be teaching in my online course and my course goals

I teach the student how to craft their own Bankroll Management goals for long term success in poker

The student will learn how to most effectively use poker software to get the most out of it to increase the speed the learning process and move up stakes more quickly

I teach an introduction to the Risk/(Risk+Reward) equation which will later help students in constructing their own preflop ranges

I start taking the student through the process of creating a BB defending range vs a btn min raise and how the student can construct their own BB defending range

I teach the student how to analyze how much equity you need from the BB to call a Btn raise

The student will start learning how to construct the BB 3-betting range

I conclude constructing the BB vs Btn 3-betting range and finish constructing the whole BB range. The student will be able to understand the concepts involved in constructing their own BB defending ranges.

After this lecture, students will be able to understand the 3 Types of 3-Betting Ranges, Linear, Polarized, and Mixed.

After this lecture, students will be able to understand how to use the math framework I have taught to construct their own Mixed 3-Betting Ranges.

After watching the video, students will be familiar with the PioSolver Edge software and understand how heads-up preflop optimal ranges are solved for.

The student will start learning how to construct the Btn defending range vs a BB 3-bet.

I further teach how to construct ranges by showing another range construction example, MP vs UTG.

At 3:22, I write 3 -> 9 -> 22 and write the equation 21/(21+13.5). This is a typo and should actually be 19/(19+13.5) = 19/32.5 = 58.46%. This means MP needs to defend 41.54% of their 3betting range. Given a 1.21% defending range vs a 4bet (AA, KK, AKs), MP can have a 2.91% 3betting range and fold 58.46% of "bluffs" to a 4bet and defend 41.54% of hands which would be the 1.21% of hands or (AA, KK, AKs).

After this lecture, students will understand how to construct a linear 3-betting range in MP, CO, and Btn and get an overview of how preflop sims are solved for using MonkerSolver.

I take the student through constructing balanced flop ranges on AK3r, Btn vs BB.

I take the student through constructing balanced turn ranges on AK3r, Btn vs BB.

I take the student through constructing balanced river ranges on AK3r, Btn vs BB

I introduce a hand I played and how to analyze it using software to figure out the best play.

I take the student through constructing balanced ranges on the flop.
