Description
Long Way Round created an entire genre of motorcycling stories, igniting a desire to set out on motorcycle adventures and share those stories. We will cover everything you need to know to tell great stories from your motorbike and anywhere else.
Whether you're looking to build a YouTube channel or create fun home videos to watch at home, we'll cover everything you need to know.
Each stage will include easy, medium and high-end approaches to decide which level suits you. We're going to run through capturing content with either just one camera or multiple cameras, including drone, how to stay organised with files and to back up, and of course, editing and publishing.
We're going to be using GoPros, using Davinci Resolve. Of course, we're talking primarily about motorcycling, but all the principles covered in the course can be applied to any camera, editing software, and activity.
I've been capturing content on GoPros since 2011 while I was V8 Supercars Digital Manager, where we started experimenting with these crazily versatile cameras. Since then, barely a day has passed without capturing something on a GoPro.
While this course will cover everything you need to know technically, our core intent is storytelling and creating content fundamentals.

Every trip on a motorcycle is a story worth telling, and I've been telling these types of stories for many years. I've been playing with GoPro cameras for over ten years, combining these two things to bring my first online course, Motorcycle Video Creator.
In the last 20 years, I've been building digital content platforms and delivering digital content through imagery, video and the written word, such as V8 Supercars, 7Tennis, Rio Olympics, 7 Live and Kayo.
