This section will help students discover these materials in order to experience this unique and exotic treatment.
This lecture introduces you to Moroccan Black Soap, one important and essential ingredient to perform the Moroccan Hammam. Pure and natural ingredient that helps moisturise, clean and exfoliate the skin.
Henna, scientifically called as Lawsonia Inermis, is a flowering plant used as a dye to dye hair and hands. In Moroccan Hammam the Henna is used as a powder and it's mixed with Moroccan Black Soap and water and then it's applied on the skin. It clarifies the skin leaving it soft. Student will know the color and some cosmetic use of the Henna.
The Kessa Glove is a Sine Qua None ingredient to perform the Moroccan Hammam. It’s used to exfoliate the body from dirtiness. It removes the dead cells, leaves the skin soft and rejuvenated. It promotes blood circulation. Students in this lecture will get a better understanding of the importance of the Kessa Glove to take the Moroccan Hammam and also to its fabric.
Long Kessa is designed to help you exfoliate your back easily. The length of the long kessa can reach out all your back and exfoliate the dead cells. Students will get introduced to the shape and the fabric of the long kessa.
Moroccan Brown clay Or Ghassoul, is a natural mineral clay mined from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
In this lecture, students will discover the medicinal and cosmetic benefits of Moroccan Brown Clay for skin and
hair and will get introduced to one of its shapes.
Foot Scrubber helps you remove dry and roughen skin from your feet. Students will get introduced to one of its different shapes and different colors.
Shower Loofah is used for soaping the body. Shower loofahs comes in different colors, materials and shapes. Students will discover in this video the traditional one from Morocco that has been used by people since ages.
Of course, students can use any shower loofah they have.
Long Shower Loofah is tailored and designed for soaping your back. The material is soft on the skin. The Long Shower Loofah can be in different colors and different soft materials.
Moroccan Miswak is a teeth whitener. It’s made from walnut roots and has many cosmetic and medicinal properties. Students will discover this exotic Miswak that is amazing for whitening the teeths.
Moroccan Argan Oil, the Golden oil, is a Moroccan oil and a heritage that has many benefits for both skin and hair. It has anti-aging properties. It improves skin’s elasticity. Great for massaging the body. Students will get an idea on the authentic cold pressed oil and to its color.
Dried lavender is a powerful medicinal and aromatic herb, used since antiquity to perform the Moroccan Hammam. Dried Lavender has been known for its fragrance, nice aroma and smell.
Students will learn great things about dried lavender.
Dried Roses are very essential to perform the Moroccan Hammam. They have medicinal and aromatic properties. They are used for skin and hair care. Students will know more about the benefits of dried roses.
Rose Water is a flavored water. It has cosmetic properties and it’s used in Moroccan Hammam as a final step to soothe the skin from the heat and the steam. The nice aroma of Rose Water has a relaxing properties.
Students will learn about the medicinal properties of rose water.
By the end of this section, students will be able to prepare the decoction of Dried Lavender & Dried Roses.
Students will learn how to mix the Moroccan Black Soap with water Or with Henna powder and water.
Students will learn how to mix the Moroccan Black Soap with Henna powder & warm water.
Students at the end of this section will learn how to make the Moroccan Brown Clay Mask for hair & body.
Students will learn how to set up the shower and to make it hot and ready to take the Moroccan Hammam.
Steam is very essential to take the Moroccan Hammam. It helps to prepare the body for the exfoliation with the kessa glove and makes it easy and smooth. Students will learn a simulation to get the steam.
When taking a Moroccan Hammam, students needs to have a time and feel comfortable. Students will learn what material they need to feel comfortable.
Students will get an idea on how to organize the material needed to perform the Moroccan Hammam.
The fabric of the Kessa Glove is bit rough, students will learn how to soak it in warm water for 10 mn before they start the Moroccan Hammam, so it will be soft on the skin when they start the exfoliation.
Students needs to ALWAYS soak the kessa glove in warm water for10 mn to prepare it fo the exfoliation before they take the Moroccan Hammam.
The application of Moroccan Black Soap on the body is an important step to the Moroccan Hammam. Students will learn how to massage the body with it for 10 mn avoiding the eyes. This massage with the Moroccan Black Soap makes the body soft and prepare it for an easy exfoliation.
The Kessa Glove is a coarse fabric washcloth, used to remove the dead cells.
Students will learn how to exfoliate the body gently with the Kessa Glove in circular movements. They need to be soft on their skin when exfoliating it, as they are learning how to take the Moroccan Hammam.
Long Kessa helps you to exfoliate your back. You need it if you are taking the Moroccan hammam by yourself otherwise a person can help you to exfoliate your back with the Kessa Glove. Students will learn how to use the long kessa to exfoliate the back.
Students will learn how to apply the Mask on their Hair and leave it for 15 mn or 20 mn. It’s excellent for oily hair also, it gives volume and shine to hair. It's also great for all other types of hair.
Students will learn how to combine this step and to rubb at the same time the feet with the foot scrubber.
Students can use their favorite shampoo to wash their hair.
Students will learn when and how to apply the Moroccan Brown Clay on their face and their body to make their skin soft and clean.
Students learn to soap their body with the Loofah & Long Loofah for the back with their favorite soap.
Moroccan Miswak is made of walnut roots. It has many cosmetic and medicinal properties . Moroccan Miswak is a natural whitener, it stops gingival bleeding and strengths the gum. It kills the bacteria that causes bad breath.
Students will learn how to use the Moroccan Miswak to brush their teeths. The results are amazing !
The flavoured water of Dried Lavender & Dried Roses is used to leave a fragrant and a nice smell on your hair & your body. Students will learn how to use this flavoured decoction as last water on their hair & body and leave it on in order to get a nice and fresh smell.
Students will learn how to use Rose Water to moisturize their Face & Neck.
Students will learn how to apply the Moroccan Argan Oil for their skin to moisturize it.
Students will learn more about the rituals of Moroccan Hammam. They will discover another secret , another tradition that will help them relax more: They will discover the Moroccan Green Tea.
