Learn common terms associated with budget planning.
Understand the process of pre-planning for budget implementation.
Learn how to create an effective budget.
Identify your financial strengths and weaknesses and understand how to accommodate them in the budget process.

Section 3: Budget Formation
Our primary focus in this section will be creating a budget using the data that was gathered in Section 2: Mission Planning. Students will also learn about goal-setting, savings strategies and good budgeting habits.
Total lecture time is 30 minutes, and the homework assignment will take approximately 60 minutes to complete.

Discussion of tithing, charitable giving and their place in the budget.

Section 4: Implementation
In this section, our focus is on how to implement a budget, what to expect from budgeting, the short- and long-term benefits of budgeting, and key points to remember during this phase.
Total lecture time is 20 minutes, and the homework assignment will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.

This section teaches budget reconciliation with a focus on uncovering investment opportunities and making adjustments that will improve earning potential. We will learn how debt affects personal cash flow and will receive an introduction to investment products.

The primary focus of this section is critical thinking and the role it plays in the budgeting process. Additionally, students will learn common characteristics of financial traps and what the connection is between budgeting, Kingdom financial stewardship and spiritual warfare.
Total lecture time is 36 minutes. The homework assignment will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
