As Monday is a collaboration tool, being able to communicate with teams is a crucial feature to have. Monday provides us the ability to communicate with teams and its members using a feature called updates. Using updates we could contextualise team communication and collaboration around a specific task.
Notification is another feature which Monday provides so that all the team members stay up-to-date with the tasks and items which are relevant to them. We will learn the different types of notifications Monday has to offer and how and when a specific member of the team will be notified.
Section 5: Search & Filtering
Monday also provides us the ability to search anything across all the boards using the search anything feature.
Using which we could search anything related to our project by using keywords. This feature makes using Monday more efficient as we could quickly find tasks, updates and files without having to scroll through them. It also provides the ability to add multiple filters all at once so that we could filter out items on our boards as per our needs. It allows us to perform filtering on the basis of multiple parameters.
Section 6: Dashboard & Widgets
Monday also provides us a feature to create reports and summaries of the current project status. We could generate dynamic reports using the Dashboards and widgets provided my Monday. There are multiple pre-built widgets which could be used to visualise and report data, the only thing we need to do is set parameters to these widgets and they will pull data from our workflows and report it inside the dashboard.
This feature also allows us to export these dashboards as PDF files and print and share them with anyone we want to.

While working and collaborating on projects, you need to share and exchange files. Monday allows you to upload, download and collaborate with files. It has the ability to upload different versions of a file and communicate on them by the means of updates. We could also control the permissions so as to which members or teams are able to access certain files.

Monday provides us a feature to automate certain mundane and repetitive tasks in our boards thereby reducing the time and effort required to do them.
