- Females must be willing to walk in heels, at least 2 inches high. Males must be willing to walk in dress shoes.
Welcome to the "World of Modeling, Online Self-Paced Class"! This course is designed for models who have a unique look and have a chance to be competitive as a fashion model with a little training. Taking a class with other models can be intimidating. You are comparing yourself to other models, while evaluating the agent's opinion of everyone. This online course takes the stigma out of competing for the training you need to be successful as a model. The course will also give you insight to what you can expect to encounter as a professional model, understand language used specifically in modeling, as well as help you navigate the business toward seizing a successful career as a model. The best part is you can repeat whatever segments of the course you need to without the worry of feeling you are holding up anyone else in your class. If you are a model, always wanted to do this, but just needed a little help, this is the perfect class for you!
Who this course is for:
- The target audience for this course will meet at least two of the following criteria: 1) Individuals who want to learn how to how to walk like a professional runway model. 2) Females 5' 8 " or taller, males 6' or taller who want to pursue modeling careers. 3) Tall, attractive, or physically fit individuals who are also photogenic. 4) Females who know how to walk in heels at least 2” high and males who know how to walk in dress shoes. 5) Models with very little or no experience or training as a runway model. 6) Models who have some training, but have not been very successful at being booked as a model. 7) Anyone who needs professional insight from a talent agent on how to properly navigate their professional careers in the world of modeling.
Model, Actress, Talent Agent and Gospel
/ inspirational artist promoting a new CD entitled Believe in Him. Grew up singing in the youth choir at Gethsemane
Baptist Church, and in the school chorus at Northwest Middle and High Schools.
As a talent agent, I offered group and private lessons for runway modeling, makeup application and photography posing. Models became so intimidated with rehearsal schedule (tailored specifically for them), process of polishing their modeling skills, and realization that being successful at modeling takes work, that they gradually just stopped attending. The World of Modeling, Online-Self Paced Class will give models the confidence and flexibility they need to master the craft of modeling.
As a solo artist, was blessed to be the last vocalist to perform before Marvin Sapp took the stage in South Carolina at Columbia’s Black Expo on May 20. During the National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina - on August 6, performed as a lead actress in a staged reading Get Off the Bus by Kim El. The performance earned a raving standing ovation. On August 9, performed as a lead in the staged reading of Carver a musical written and co-directed by the Grammy award winning and five Tony nominated, Micki Grant. The only female vocalist to perform in that production (all singers sung A cappella). This performance also received a standing ovation. On September 16, became a two-time specially featured performer at Mount Zion Baptist Church’s Senior Adult Ministry Talent Showcase.
In addition to singing and acting, I am also a songwriter, scriptwriter, independent filmmaker of two films Office Blue and It’s Your Baby. I have written commercials which have been aired on various channels to include BET, CNN Headline News, GCTV, VH-1, PAX-16, Channel 58, Bravo, Cartoon Network, MTV, and TV-Guide.
I am humble and grateful for every opportunity God has given me. My music is my testimony that through it all, if you Believe in Him, God is always there to love you, carry you, guide you, bless you and cover you in his grace.
My most recent performance was at Words of Essence's 12th Annual Gospel Showcase & Talent Show 2017. A few members of the audience were moved to tears.
