Hello, I'm Samara Hakim, an international culture, equity, and inclusion thought leader, data strategist, keynote speaker, writer, coach, and facilitator. For over a decade, I have equipped leaders and organizations with the mindset and skills to work with those who are different than them, by mitigating bias and integrating culture into business practices and metrics.
My work has ranged from culture transformation, team-building, leadership coaching, global marketing and sales, inclusive talent acquisition and advancement, supplier diversity, to cultural intelligence development and other corporate initiatives. I have worked with clients who are Fortune 500 and 100 companies in multiple industries, with for-profit and non-profit organizations of all sizes, as well as educational institutions.
I thrive on working with people from all walks of life. In all my work, I draw on a range of experiences including my cross-cultural work, my career as a lawyer, and my personal experiences and background. Through sitting on several advisory boards and participating in several communities of practice, as well as being a growth partner and coach alongside dozens of students and professionals, I have listened, experienced and witnessed the challenges and needs of people with varied lived experiences. I love to engage with people to think beyond their comfort zone, to work across differences.

I grew up in Lebanon, and I currently reside with my husband and two children in San Diego, California.
