Explain what minutes are for when AI can transcribe everything, and map the five-stage workflow used throughout the course.
Choose the right type and formality of record for a meeting, from personal notes to board minutes.
Take minutes people actually trust. This course teaches the part of minute taking that AI can't do for you.
You decide what matters, pin down decisions and owners while everyone's still in the room, check the AI's draft, and make sure the actions actually get done. It doesn't matter whether your organization calls them minutes, meeting notes, action logs or MoM (minutes of meeting).
You'll learn a five-stage workflow you can use in your very next meeting.
How the course works
You will follow one realistic meeting from start to finish. A hybrid product-launch sync with a late executive, a supplier delay, a decision that depends on another company, and an AI summary with seven errors in it. You'll see it go from agenda, to rough notes, to verified minutes, to a live action tracker. Each stage has a short exercise so you're practising rather than just watching.
It doesn't matter whether your organisation calls them minutes, meeting notes, action logs or MoM. The method is the same.
We will cover:
Separate decisions, actions and discussion in real time, without trying to write down everything
Get a clear owner and due date from people who'd rather stay vague
Review an AI-generated recap and catch the errors it makes most often
Use AI to tidy up rough notes without letting it invent anything
Run an action tracker so items don't quietly die after the meeting
Handle recording consent, confidential items, "don't minute that," and requests to change minutes after they've gone out
Produce formal and board minutes that hold up if anyone ever needs to rely on them
...and more
The course also covers the parts nobody likes to talk about, e.g., recording consent, organizational AI policies, formal and board minutes, confidential items, "don't minute that," and what to do when someone asks you to change the minutes after they've gone out.
