  • No prior coding experience needed. Just install Minecraft Education Edition and make sure your device meets the following specs: - OS: Windows 10, macOS, or iPadOS - RAM: 8GB - CPU: Intel Core i5 or equivalent - Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 or better - Storage: 4GB of free space
  • You will also need a Microsoft 365 school account to log in to Minecraft Education.
  • Parents may need to assist younger students during the course.
  • If you are using a laptop, a mouse is recommended as you will need to use the scroll wheel for certain actions.
  • Minimum hardware or equipment requirements: A desktop or laptop computer running Windows. Minecraft Education recommends 4GB of RAM. At least 500MB of disk space is required, with 1GB recommended. Chrome browser version 83 or later is required. May not be compatible with Mac.
  • If you don’t have one, don’t worry — this course includes step-by-step instructions on how to purchase one.
