You will understand why incorporating three simple strategies to your daily life will help you to break up with the past after divorce. My background, experience, expertise, and success in applying them to my life qualifies me to show you how.
Trying many different options and searching outside of oneself are not where answers and solutions are found. Making changes within is how you begin to change your life without.
Discovering the way to change your present focus, thinking, and attitude will help to override conflicted feelings, emotions, and limiting beliefs so that you feel confident to make a break from the past. As you focus on the present and future, part of the past that no longer serves you will begin to fall away. When you take control over situations, conditions, and circumstances that are holding you back, you step into your power.
Here's what you'll be able to apply to your life after learning the key concepts of this lecture:
Channeling fear in a different direction will help free you from staying "stuck" in the past.
You will take responsibility for making better decisions going forward.
Transformation of you and your life begins in the mind. You are what you think about.
Each strategy has a step-by-step power tool that you will utilize and apply to your own situation. I included a quick reference checklist that reiterates all the steps you will take for each of the strategies.
Here's what you will be able to apply to your life after learning the key concepts of this lecture:
Learn how to override conflicted feelings, emotions, and negative thinking by flipping your focus to the lesson(s) learned from having gone through this trauma.
Recognize the power and control you begin to feel by responding to situations, circumstances, or conditions instead of reacting to them.
Reframe your old perspective with a new one as you change your focus from setbacks to steppingstones.
Working through the step-by-step power tool, you gain and channel more positive outcomes going forward.
Here's what you will be able to apply to your life after learning the key concepts of this lecture:
Becoming aware of what you are thinking about is the key to discovering whether or not you want the thoughts, and if they are serving you in a positive way.
Noticing your thoughts or becoming the observer of them means you choose to be in control of them instead of them controlling you.
Mindful of what triggering thoughts suck you into self-talk that would bring you down, you are able to push them out as they serve no constructive purpose in helping you to move forward.
Here's what you will be able to apply to your life after learning the key concepts of this lecture:
Focusing on the good allows you to override those conflicted feelings and emotions so you can start to think of a solution instead of being "stuck" in the problem.
In any negative circumstance, situation, or condition, you ask yourself, "What good or positive is there in having had the experience?" Then, your focus becomes that.
When you experience a "triggering thought", you want to stop, think, then act. In this way, you are responding instead of impulsively reacting so that you are in control instead of the feelings controlling you.
Here's what you will be able to apply to your life after learning the key concepts of this lecture:
You will know the importance of starting the day with a positive daily routine along with incorporating good habits that will set you up for achieving more positive results.
Nurturing healthy relationships and creating healthy boundaries help you to make better choices and decisions that show you have respect for yourself.
Integrating gratitude, mediation, journaling, self-care, and a positive mindset are great ways to ensure that you maintain a positive attitude daily.
Through repetition, using a Daily Empowerment Routine Log will help to instill good habits and create a good daily practice to begin to design a new life you would love living for the future.
This course is for those who feel frustrated because they haven't been able to move forward with their lives after divorce. The trauma of divorce changes us. Some of our roles and identity have changed. Some of us continue to feel "stuck" or "in pain". Some of us stay the victim and have a pity party for anyone who will come. Some of us become complacent and settle for the way our lives are now...
I use the word, frustrating, because intellectually we feel ready. We've tried many options, but none of them give us the results we want or need to move on. We can't understand why it is so. I'll tell you why because I had that same experience. We can't move on by searching for answers outside of ourselves, and I don't mean analyzing the what, who, or how of the situation. (I am a former counselor turned coach.) So, I know a lot of analyzing.
It's because WE GET WHAT WE BELIEVE AND NOT WHAT WE WANT. What I mean by that is intellectually we are ready, but deep down inside of us we don't believe that we can begin this new and different life. We feel scared. We may say that we aren't, but we are because otherwise we would break up with the past and start a new relationship with believing, building, and becoming our new vision for the future.
In this course, you will learn how to override the conflicted feelings, emotions, and limiting beliefs so that we get better results for the future. This is what I learned. If we think the same thoughts over and over, and we feel the same contractive feelings inside over and over, they elicit the same actions over and over, and we get the same results over and over. It can be no other way.
In this course you will learn three simple strategies that will will teach you how to override whatever it is that is holding you back, so that the concentration is on the present and future. By applying these strategies you learn how to open your mind to possibilities and opportunities to move forward that may have been in plain sight but you couldn't see.
Doing the work within is how you change your life without.
Right from where you are in the present moment, you learn how to change your focus, thinking, and attitude. Learning how the mind works and applying these three strategies, you'll take control of your feelings and emotions instead of them controlling you. You will learn to refocus the self-talk that never shuts up so that it can't influence you to react impulsively instead of responding rightly to any situation. You will step into your power and take control of your life. From there, you can begin to create a life filled with joy and happiness.
