Paint terrain on the road by assigning a layer, loading Megascans gravel textures, and tuning brush size, strength, and falloff to blend edges, with decals and shadow tweaks discussed.
Use the PCGS content browser to add big trees, center them on the world, and resize the volume over the terrain by adjusting x, y, and z.
Copy the second actor’s id, paste it on the second screen, and add the purple flowers with foliage painter by selecting indices seven and eight, while disabling dynamic shadows.
Place PCG decals using the decals plane with the dcl gravel material, then fine-tune edges along the road with the decals spline and distance.
Learn to paint edge foliage along a road using the foliage tool, vary plant instances, adjust scale and density, and optimize performance by disabling dynamic shadows.
Import decal textures to finish the road by adding leaves and road debris as 3d decals, using Megascan IDs, bridge downloads, and custom shaders for PCG decals.
Here is the second Megascans course! The goal is to get straight to the point and focus on composition and lighting only thanks to Megascans assets, provided shaders and tree packs.
