First you will get to know the theoretical part about the Mezieres Method. You will get to know the laws of using the method, the muscle chains, the types of application of the method, indications and contraindications ect. Next, you will be introduced to the inspection and palpation of skeletal structures in the human body and also in skeleton. You will learn the physical examination of patients according to three plans. In the cranio-caudal direction according to the anterior-posterior frontal plane, also according to the sagittal plane.
Furthermore in this course, you will learn about the application of Mézières Method in practice. You will be familiar with the application of this method in the supine position, in which you can apply on the floor on a carpet or as in the video on the physiotherapy bed.
Starting with mobilization, stretching and strengthening of the lower extremities, cervical Pompage, mobilization stretching and isometrics muscle for the trunk and upper extremities.
In the execution of this method, we will also need the help of an assistant in cases where the patients are not able to keep their legs elevated for a few minutes.
For practical application of this method, we will take at least 45-60 minutes.
