We all know that the full form of the web is the World Wide Web. It was invented by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 1989. After 28 years, the third generation, Web 3.O, is set to create new horizons. The original web is known as Web 1.O, and the web we use today is called Web 2.O. The third generation, Web 3.O, is coming soon and will take our lives one step further.
The first version of the web is called Web 1.O. Web 1.O used Gateway Interface, System of Server Files, and HTML. It was a system where the Internet was just for reading or one-way communication. There was no provision for comments or feedback. Web 2.O solved the problems of Web 1.O. Now, it’s not just for reading; you can comment, share, tag, create user accounts on various sites, upload files, enjoy high-speed internet, and strengthen interaction between users.

And now, Web 3.O is the new creation that's shaking up the tech world. Simply put, Web 3.O is an evolution of Web 2.O, built entirely on blockchain technology. Users will get many benefits from Web 3.O. Here, data won't be stored on a central server. As a result, users can control their own information, and no information will be shared without their permission. The government or any authority won’t be able to stop any site or service at will, and no one can control someone else's information, even if they know how to hack.

Currently, companies like Amazon and Facebook collect all user information on their huge servers and can trade this information for billions of dollars if they want. With Web 3.O, organizations will lose that power because all the information will be encrypted.

Today, all the mobile or web apps we use depend on the operating system. For example, Android-based cryptocurrencies are unplayable on iOS. Web 3.O will reduce these dependencies on operating systems. Web 3.O will feature the semantic web, artificial intelligence, 3D graphics, natural language search, microformats, and much more. The W3C is working to develop Web 3.O.
Web 3.O, the decentralized web, will require only one seed to access. With this single identity, we can use various apps and web services. Web 3.O will have a search engine that won't just look for keywords but will also be able to interpret search terms. In short, Web 3.O will allow for direct communication with easy-to-use interfaces for simple information retrieval. General users won’t face much difficulty transitioning from Web 2.O to Web 3.O. Extended Reality, or XR, is a term that combines the physical and virtual worlds, like Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Augmented Reality (AR). The term "extended reality" or "XR" was first used in March 2017 when the Khronos Group Consortium developed OpenXR.

In this lesson, we’re going to learn about Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality, or AR, is a scientific technology that keeps our practical life constantly moving and changing. Virtual reality has been on the rise for the past few years, but according to most technologists, Augmented Reality is going to be the big surprise in the future tech world.

In this lesson, we’re going to talk about virtual reality, or VR for short. VR is a computer system that creates an artificial environment. The word "virtual" means "in front," and "reality" means "actuality." But this reality can only be experienced by humans. It's not real in the true sense but more like a fantasy or imagined reality that feels very real.

Virtual Reality is abbreviated as “VR,” and Augmented Reality is abbreviated as “AR.” Both VR and AR have their advantages. With VR, you can watch and play 3D videos, watch 360-degree videos from YouTube, and play games in 360 degrees. Augmented Reality, or AR, is like an extended version of the real world. It adds a computer-generated layer on top of what you see in real life.

Mixed reality is the next wave of computing, following mainframes, PCs, and smartphones. It frees us from screen-bound experiences by providing intuitive interactions with data from our homes and friends. Online explorers around the world have experienced mixed reality through their handheld devices. These days, mobile AR offers a lot, with mixed reality on social media. People might not even realize that the filters they’re using on Instagram or Snapchat are mixed reality experiences.

In the metaverse, users can do a lot of things! You can shop, play games, meet friends, attend concerts, work, and create an entire virtual life and lifestyle. This new technology has the potential to revolutionize the education and training sector.

A planned metaverse will open the door to multiple possibilities. There are so many benefits we can enjoy through the metaverse. The world will experience exciting new technologies that will make our lives easier.

Unreal Engine, or UE, is a powerful 3D computer graphics game engine developed by Epic Games. Which was first shown in 1998. The game was originally developed for PC first-person shooters. It’s been used in all kinds of games.

Cybernetics is a broad field that deals with regulatory and objective systems. It’s an interdisciplinary science that focuses on the communication and control systems of organisms, machines, and other organizations. Essentially, cybernetics studies how information can be transformed into desired actions.

Cybernetics, or systems management science, is all about understanding the flow of information and how it influences systems. In the metaverse, you’ll feel like you’re sitting right next to people, chatting with them, even if you're miles apart.
