Description
Metal stamping or pressing is a processing method that applies external force to sheets, strips, blank by means of presses and dies to cause metal deformation or separation to obtain workpieces of desired shape and size. Metal stamping parts is the structural back bone for many products in electronics, machinery, aerospace, automotive industries.
Almost all metal stamping process in manufacturing are in batches due to the time taken to set up and attach stamping die to machine. Therefore it is vital to have a good process setup and control in metal stamping which is a batch process where if the process is not setup and control properly you will have whole batch of bad products.
I have created this course through my experience of auditing and working with more than 100 manufacturer and their suppliers globally in mechanical process control. You will learn about the basics in metal stamping and its process control and quality audit of a metal stamping process to achieve good quality products. This course also comes with quality audit checklist with total 94 questions which means total of 94 process control point in a stamping process. The audit checklist is design base on my experience and a pool of subject matter expert knowledge in stamping process and quality process audit from all the previous companies I served.
You will uncover all the secrets of process control in metal stamping, machine, stamping die and how to monitor process output to achieve consistently good quality products in metal stamping process. Consistent good quality parts is the king in all businesses.
