Metahuman Creator is a program from Epic Game with free access for creating animated photorealistic male and female characters.
In the course we will learn how the interface allows us to apply all the necessary changes to modify all aspects of the character in detail.
It will therefore be possible to create countless variations of the characters by modifying physical and aesthetic aspects.
The interactive potential of the program retains the simplicity of real-time modifications, it will therefore be possible to modify any aspect, from skin color, to the age of the character, to the colors of the eyes and his make up.
An important part is reserved for hair created in a realistic way and subjected to real dynamic collisions; the options regarding color and management of melatonin considerably increase the realistic detail obtained.
Multiple female and male hairstyles are available, including versions with beard and hair.
We will study the various animated facial expressions of the characters and the animations dedicated to the body, in addition to real-time rendering managed in ray tracing for the best quality.
We will have the opportunity to use different mixing techniques related to the character mesh; this will allow us to create multiple ethnic groups quickly without having to resort to hours and hours of traditional modeling.
We will study the techniques to modify the proportion of the body of our characters and how to parametrically vary their clothing and decorative styles, as well as learning how to export them, to share them with other users and import them into our metahuman creator; attached to the course you will find all the files related to the characters that we will study together, ready to be imported.
The last part of the course will be dedicated to the data exchange relationship between Unreal Engine and Metahuman to insert the characters directly into Unreal Engine.
The course is open to everyone, it is not necessary to have specific knowledge or super computers, everything will be done in the cloud with the powerful resources of Epic Game.
