    To stay aligned with the original intention of the course, which is to give you as many resources as possible to help you break the stigma about mental health in the workplace and in your community, I am updating the course.

    I am adding bite-size standalone interactive exercises to promote MHA in 15 minutes or less.

    These updates will help you bring MHA to life by generating interesting virtual discussions on focused topics at the beginning of a team meeting or during MHA month.


    I am also adding practical handouts to promote positive well-being.  Visit the last lecture to print them and share them throughout the year with your colleagues, team members, friends, etc.

Description

This is a general Mental Health Awareness course designed for anyone with little or no training in mental health and who would like to understand a little more about:

-  Mental health and mental well-being
-  Common signs, symptoms, and conditions
-  How to talk about mental health
-  How to support someone
-  How to be an advocate of Mental Health Awareness and share what I've learned with others

This is also a course designed to promote 'Mental Health Awareness' in the workplace and to create self-efficacy, raise awareness and fight the mental health stigma. 

It offers tons of downloadable resources to run interactive bite-sized presentations/quizzes.  Practical handouts can be attached to emails to promote well-being at work all year round.

You will also find a Train-The-Trainer session explaining how this course can be used by any HR or L&D professional to run a bite-size (45min +) interactive training session or by a manager/team lead to conduct an interactive team discussion on Mental Health Awareness.
