    This section of the Mega Project Management Part II course introduces the students to the subjects that will be part of the course: contracting, contract administration, project control and cost control.

Description

The course, prepared by LATINBIS LLC, introduces the students to the main concepts of mega project management. Includes the contracting management responsibilities, the types of contracts commonly used in the oil and gas sector and their characteristics; the contract administration responsibilities and a flow scheme of the monthly progress report and invoice issuing; the project control subjects from the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), through the progress measurement of engineering, procurement and construction, including the reporting models based on real projects, and the schedule setting and planning; and the cost control responsibilities, considerations, and reporting. It includes highlights and recommendations from the experience of the instructor. Is the last part of the Mega Project Management sections, and includes the final recommendations and conclusions.
