Description

In this course you will learn how to submit your initial Medicare enrollment as a physical therapist in private practice for Medicare part B. We will use the PECOS enrollment system. I am sharing videos of each step in the process. After completing this course you will be on your way to starting your Mobile physical therapy business or opening a brick and mortar clinic.

This course is created for both mobile only physical therapists in private practice and therapists who own, rent, or lease a brick and mortar clinic location.

In this course I share information about creating your Medicare Identity and Access account, PECOS login, and NPPES login.

If you are a physical therapy seeking to become a contracted Medicare Part B provider you will need to take the following steps:

1.) Apply for a personal NPI

2.) Apply for a business (organizational) NPI

3.) Submit a CMS 855i Medicare Application via PECOS and receive a personal PTAN, a business PTAN, and have your personal PTAN and business PTAN connected via a reassignment.

The Medicare Application process is FREE. The NPI application process is FREE.

If you would like more information about this process or about growing a successful private practice please look at my other courses.
