RESTORATION:
Definition: Returning, or attempting to return, a physiological function to its original state by extracorporeal
means
Explanation: Only external cardioversion and defibrillation procedures. Failed cardioversion procedures are also included in the definition of restoration, and are coded the same as successful procedures
