Jacqueline Lara is the president of Mpact PR, LLC, which launched in 2010. Jacqueline has since directed the focus of Mpact PR, LLC to providing strategic consulting to entrepreneurs, artists, and cultural institutions whose work challenges the status quo and fosters general goodwill. As an avid arts lover, she’s also a contributing arts and culture writer for Adobe’s 99U, Adobe Create Magazine, i-D Magazine, Big Cartel's blog, Workshop, OkayAfrica, and mater mea.
Jacqueline has spoken about communications, storytelling and the intersection of arts and business at the World Bank, Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art, Creative Colony, Adobe MAX, Maryland Women’s Business Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration. She holds a BA in Sociology with a concentration in Organizations from the University of Maryland, is a 2014 alumni of the Urban Bush Women's Summer Leadership Intensive, and 2017 alumni of THREAD at Yale: Storytelling in Modern Media.
