She has worked for CNBC Africa, Al Jazeera in Washington DC, Business Affair and ABC News. Ash regularly consults for large corporations and executive teams on issues around crisis communications, stock exchange listings, reputation management and presentation preparation.
She has reported from the World Economic Forum, the African Mining Indaba, Africacom, The World Bank and the JSE.
Ash graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Communication from Lynn University in Florida, USA and a certificate in The Global Financial Crisis from Yale.
She spent seven years living in the USA, where she worked on Capitol Hill before returning to broadcasting.
After years of interviewing world leaders and top business executives who struggled with on-camera performance, Ashlea founded The King's Speech in 2012 to help train delegates on how to make the most of their media interviews and presentations.
