A quick tutorial of how my family uses Airtable to meal plan and grocery shop.
The first step in creating your meal plan in AirTable.
Learn how to build meal records in AirTable.
Enter each of your favorite meals in Airtable.
Please note: more colors are available in the free trial of Airtable pro (which is what you are on for the first 14 days after getting an AirTable account). Once your trial ends, only the ten lightest colors will remain. This is still enough colors to color coordinate your ingredients if you'd like.
Finish up adding in your meals.

Before you start this lecture, you'll want at least ten meals entered into your AirTable meal planner. This will make it easier to test your shopping list.
Two views that will help with your meal planning.
Here's another way to select your meals and generate a grocery list.
Bringing your grocery list to the store in three ways: Use the app, print the list from Airtable or create a CSV.
Sort your meals by ingredients.
If you want to get super fancy, this is how you can create a calendar view and sync it to your favorite digital calendar. This isn't something I personally use, but it could be helpful to some.
You'll use Airtable to add your favorite meals and ingredients. Then you'll select which meals you want to make for the next week (or whatever time frame you'd like), and your grocery list will be created in just seconds! Add in new meals at any time and swap out meals for the week and your grocery list will automatically adjust.
