    2D / 3D MODELING

Photogrammetry is a 2D / 3D representation technique that relies on many images collected.

Orthophotos and 3D models achieve high quality precision

Our software can convert thousands of aerial images captured by our drones into georeferenced 2D orthomosaics, 3D surface models or point clouds. Our drones are becoming the next generation of mapping tools.

The photogrammetry solution can be used in many fields.

  • Alignment7:43

    I am going to show you how to use Align tool in 3ds max. I notice many beginners don’t know about Align tool and they manually align objects. This takes too much time and is not accurate at all;

  • 2 -COMPOSED MODELING8:01

I will show you how to model the walls for your interior scene. The technique that I’m using here is based on modeling the whole model from the plane and applying an Editable poly modifier on it

  • 3 -APP MC17:47

The Spherify modifier distorts an object into a spherical shape. This modifier has only one parameter: a Percent spinner that deforms the object, as much as possible, into a spherical shape.

  • 6 -sweep6:49

Use the Sweep modifier to extrude a cross-section along an underlying spline or NURBS curve path. You can work with a series of pre-made cross-sections such as angles, channels and wide flanges, and can also use your own splines or NURBS curves as custom sections

  • 12-import plans and modeling1:21:23

I will show you how to model the walls for your interior scene. The technique that I’m using here is based on modeling the whole model from the plane and applying an Editable poly modifier on it. My aim is to have walls, floors, and ceiling in one object. The benefit of this technique is that you can use more advanced functions on it during later stages of modeling. For instance the chamfer modifier, which will round/chamfer the edges and corners of the wall in your interior scene. But let’s start from the beginning.

  • 13-library import and settings1:03:35

In 3ds Max, you can set a custom pivot point for each object in your scene, even when those objects are instances of the same master object. However, in Unreal Engine, all instances of the same geometry need to use the same pivot point. When Datasmith translates your objects to Unreal, it handles those pivot points as follows.

  • 15- modeling preparation for vray3:19

in this quick start tutorial, we will cover how to set up, light and render an interior day scene. As part of the video, we’ll also go over the V-Ray Denoiser, Adaptive Dome Light and LUT adjustments.

  • 16- difference between modeling scene and rendering scene10:05

3D modeling is the process of creating geometric representations of objects (or models) using computer software that can accurately describe every surface and detail of an object in all three dimensions.

3D rendering is simply the creation of realistic 2D images of modeled 3D objects. It's much like taking a photograph of a model from a chosen viewpoint in a particular setting with the desired lighting.

  • 17 -Analyze the render scene6:27

the Analyze button will scan your scene and print out information about any textures, materials, plug-ins and assets, incompatible with Chaos Cloud. The Preview button will scan your scene and run a preview of it with V-Ray Standalone.

  • 18 INDIRECT LIGHT43:49

Indirect illumination refers to illumination that results from the bounced light in a scene, as opposed to illumination directly from light sources. Global illumination (GI) refers to the computation of this effect through computer graphics.

  • Edit mesh and Poly25:20

Edit mesh is a modifier for changing meshes that can take most max object types as inputs and gives you the edited triangles as a mesh as result. Conversely, Edit poly can be used to turn an object into a poly-mesh and/or edit it in the process.

Description

Introduction to 3D

Are you new to creating 3D models and animation on the computer?
If so, follow this link to learn how to proceed.

Modeling

Would you like to know how to take advantage of the many powerful
modeling techniques in 3ds Max Design? Use these tutorials to learn a
variety of methods for creating the exact 3D models you have in mind.

Animation

Want to make your scenes move? With the many animation methods
available in 3ds Max Design, you can. These tutorials will get you going.

Materials and Mapping

Want to master materials? These tutorials help you use textures
to bring expression and beauty to your scenes.

Lighting

Learn how to place and manage lights and sunlight.

Rendering

Additional aspects of rendering include using Depth-of-Field and
using particles or proxies to reduce the render time of a complex scene.

Interoperability Tutorials

These tutorials give you practice with incorporating
3ds Max Design with other 3D and CAD applications.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to model and animate in 3ds Max Design. You’ll construct an animated revolving door for a hotel lobby. In the course of doing so, you'll learn about creating objects and transforming them. You'll learn about using snaps and pivot points for alignment, as well as general user-interface navigation skills. You'll learn to instance objects and link them into an animated hierarchy. You'll also learn to merge files together.
